And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colin McKinney!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A punch combination from Johnson misses.
McKinney fails with a takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - McKinney looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Johnson is looking to counter punch.
Johnson throws a series of punches but McKinney avoids them all with ease.
We've been told by Johnson's head coaches at V Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Johnson throws a nice looking combination but McKinney bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McKinney is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
McKinney displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnson throws out the jab.
Johnson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Colin McKinney has been cut.
McKinney is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
Johnson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Johnson lands a nice shot that snaps McKinney's head back.
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McKinney wants to counter with a clinch but Johnson pushes him away.

Rumble Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McKinney shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McKinney gets slowly back to his feet.

Johnson lands a jab to the nose.

Rumble Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McKinney swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Johnson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Johnson misses with a hook.
Johnson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McKinney slips under a jab from Johnson.
Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McKinney moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Johnson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McKinney fails with a takedown attempt.
Rumble Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Colin McKinney.
Johnson jabs McKinney right on the nose. McKinney blinks but takes it well.

Johnson thuds a left hand into McKinney's body.
Johnson loads up on a big right hand but McKinney slips the punch.
Nice takedown defense from Johnson. No joy for McKinney on that attempt.

Johnson misses with a looping left.
McKinney steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Johnson.
McKinney shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Johnson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McKinney backs up against the cage.
McKinney is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?


That has opened up Colin McKinney's cut even more.
Johnson misses with an uppercut. McKinney saw that one coming.
McKinney seems to have recovered his senses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McKinney shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A punch combination from Johnson misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McKinney is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Johnson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Johnson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
McKinney shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed McKinney's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McKinney blocks the body kick.
McKinney moves out of range of the strikes.
Johnson misses with a double jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McKinney takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Johnson lands a left and a right that send McKinney crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McKinney tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McKinney walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Johnson! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rumble Johnson!
Rumble Johnson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
The defeated Colin McKinney had this to say: 'SHit happens....Get the godamn camera out of my face before i beat you with it!@#$'.
