Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert De La Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeus Titan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zeus Titan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Titan lands with a right hand.
De La Cruz throws a nice head kick!
Titan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Titan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Titan misses with a series of wild punches.

Titan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends De La Cruz sprawling to the canvas! De La Cruz rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Titan finish him?!

Titan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De La Cruz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

De La Cruz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Titan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

De La Cruz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

De La Cruz stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Titan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps De La Cruz's head backwards.

Titan gets caught napping as De La Cruz dives in and scores a takedown. Titan manages to retain guard.

De La Cruz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

De La Cruz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Titan is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Titan tries to clinch there but De La Cruz circles away.

Titan tries to close the distance and clinch but De La Cruz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Titan gets caught flat footed, as De La Cruz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
De La Cruz is pushing down on Titan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Titan is fighting to maintain full guard but De La Cruz has managed to sneak the leg through.
Titan tries to kick De La Cruz off in order to stand up. De La Cruz Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Titan looks winded!

De La Cruz has hold of Titan's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Titan tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - De La Cruz cranks the arm and Titan screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Titan, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
