Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gregor Samsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tyson Steel was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gregor Samsa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyson Steel! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel lands a glancing blow to the side of Samsa's head. Samsa tries to clinch there but Steel circles away.
Steel throws a body punch but Samsa moves out of range. As Steel tries to get set, Samsa tries to push him back and clinch up but Steel manages to avoid the attempt. Steel shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Steel was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Steel scores with a couple of short elbows. Steel working the head and body with strikes. Steel working the ground and pound. Samsa is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Steel laying and praying for a moment but Samsa takes advantage and regains half guard. Samsa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Samsa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steel on the ground. Samsa taking some punishment here, with Steel in his half guard. Samsa is in trouble now - Steel has advanced to mount! Steel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Samsa is bucking up trying to escape but Steel cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Samsa is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big strike lands for Steel! That's really hurt Samsa and he's turned his back - Steel keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Steel jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyson Steel!
