Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Hagiwara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Long Wang is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Hagiwara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Long Wang! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wang throws a hook but Hagiwara avoids it easily. Hagiwara is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Wang. Hagiwara looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wang is fending him off so far but Hagiwara persists. Nope, Wang circles away and we're back to standing. Wang waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hagiwara. No luck for Wang with that takedown attempt. Hagiwara stuffs the takedown. Hagiwara uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wang. Hagiwara throws a big counter combination but Wang scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Hagiwara tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wang sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hagiwara somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hagiwara tries a head kick but it misses.

Wang manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hagiwara trying to control the position from guard on top but Wang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hagiwara is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wang throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hagiwara can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hagiwara landing some decent shots from guard. Hagiwara sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wang's guard. Wang wants to control but Hagiwara is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hagiwara in particular looking to stall. Wang is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Hagiwara jumps into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wang is trying to improve his position. Hagiwara is trying to get an arm triangle but Wang is defending well. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wang is looking for a sweep. Wang is not content to let Hagiwara control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hagiwara working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hagiwara wants to control but Wang is keeping him busy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hagiwara slips a jab from Wang. Hagiwara shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wang defends it nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Long Wang will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Wang looking to score a takedown here. Hagiwara is defending well but Wang drives through and ends up in Hagiwara's guard. Wang with a flurry of punches that miss. Wang trying to control but Hagiwara is working from the bottom. Wang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hagiwara swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hagiwara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wang on the ground. Hagiwara is trying to hold Wang in close to prevent damage but Wang has managed to pass into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wang is figuring out what he wants to do next. Hagiwara is looking to get back to is feet but Wang passes into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wang working away. Hagiwara manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hagiwara is trying to maintain the position but Wang is very close to passing his half guard. Wang not landing any meaningful shots this time. Wang is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Wang landing punches. Hagiwara is desperately trying to improve his position but Wang has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wang looking to control but Hagiwara is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hagiwara is looking to get to half guard. Wang looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wang lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hagiwara hang on? Wang tries to control but Hagiwara wriggling away. Wang looking for a guillotine from mount but Hagiwara is having none of it. Wang controlling the pace for now. Wang wants to control the action but instead Hagiwara gets a body lock and reverses into Wang's guard! Nice work!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wang had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hagiwara defends it easily. Hagiwara trying to control but Wang is working from the bottom. Wang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Long Wang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Hagiwara is not content to let Wang control the position. Long Wang has got the better of the ground game so far. Wang has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hagiwara is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Wang yanks on the arm and Hagiwara is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Wang.
