Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Feline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlin Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Feline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Orlin Junior!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior darts in looking for a takedown but Feline gets double underhooks and turns Junior into the cage.
Feline seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Feline leaves Junior with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Feline pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Junior back to the cage. Feline follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Orlin Junior has been cut.
Feline looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Feline sitting in guard here, content to control.
Feline trying to stand up but can't free himself from Junior's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Feline tries to free his leg and advance position but Junior is retaining full guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Feline's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Junior is pushing down on Feline's leg trying to pass to half guard. Feline is fighting to maintain full guard but Junior has managed to sneak the leg through.

Junior wants to finish this one by submission but Feline is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Junior.
Feline is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Junior is defended easily by Feline.
Feline throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Junior was covering up waiting for the punch and Feline finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Feline wants to stand but Junior has his arm trapped.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Feline is trying to ground and pound but Junior uses the momentary lack of control by Feline to regain half guard.
Feline is trying to control the action in half guard but Junior is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Feline is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Feline looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Junior blocks a head kick by Feline.
Junior fails to land with a series of punches.
Junior tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Feline is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Junior can do to turn this around?
Feline fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Junior tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Feline tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Junior defends well and Feline ends up having to push Junior into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Feline goes for a double leg but Junior avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Junior continues to drive forward.
