The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Garrett's half guard.
Garrett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wilson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Garrett knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Wilson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Garrett haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Garrett turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Garrett manages to end up in side control.
We've been informed that Wilson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Wilson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Garrett keeps working.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Garrett fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilson, pushing him back against the cage.
Garrett using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Wilson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Garrett wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wilson has him pressed against the cage.
Wilson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Garrett is trying to break free.
Garrett pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Garrett wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Garrett changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wilson tries to avoid it but Garrett manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wilson to the ground. Wilson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wilson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Wilson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
