And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Kurgan!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jedrzejczyk misses with a kick to the body.
Kurgan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A punch lands to the side of Jedrzejczyk 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nice defenses there by Kurgan.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kurgan! But no joy.
Jedrzejczyk's corner calls for a 1-2. Jedrzejczyk obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A jab from Kurgan misses.
Jedrzejczyk is looking to counter punch.
Nice body punch from Kurgan.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kurgan.
Kurgan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Good leg kick by Jedrzejczyk there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kurgan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kurgan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The Kurgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kurgan misses with a wild body shot.
Kurgan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jedrzejczyk goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kurgan cracks Jedrzejczyk with an open hand slap.
Kurgan cracks Jedrzejczyk with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jedrzejczyk looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kurgan finish him?
Jedrzejczyk is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jedrzejczyk wants to clinch but Kurgan slips to the side
and Kurgan rattles Jedrzejczyk with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Jedrzejczyk tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Kurgan dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Jedrzejczyk stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). The Kurgan!
Post fight, an emotional The Kurgan said 'There can be only one!'.
