Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akihiko Yamato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glass comes to the cage accompanied by glass house. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Glass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Akihiko Yamato! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glass throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yamato connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Glass throws out a loose jab but Yamato uses good head movement to avoid it. Glass throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Yamato misses with a body kick. A little feinted left hand from Glass on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Yamato lands a nice shot to the body.
We've been informed that Yamato has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Yamato looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Glass appears to be looking for a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Yamato, right into the meat.
Glass sizes up Yamato with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Yamato throws a low kick but Glass avoids it. Glass closes the distance looking to clinch and Yamato counters with a good low kick that Glass was not able to check.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamato works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Glass has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thirteenth Legion MMA in the buildup to the fight. Yamato slips under a jab from Glass. Yamato dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Glass. That did some damage! Glass takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Yamato feints and then cracks Glass's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Glass down. Yamato throws a leg kick which misses Glass's front leg but catches the back leg as Glass tries to avoid it. A clash of legs there as Glass blocks the low kick. Glass appears to be looking for a big counter. Glass misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glass misses with a right hand and Yamato counters with a low kick, right behind Glass 's knee. Yamato takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Yamato connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Yamato throws a half hearted mid kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Yamato circles away from the clinch attempt.
Glass on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Glass avoids the head kick by Yamato.
Yamato is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yamato fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Glass. Glass takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Glass is rocked! A solid leg kick lands there for Yamato.
Yamato thows a left - swing and a miss! Yamato tries to land a front kick but Glass steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Glass half committed to a counter leg kick. Glass looks to throw the jab but Yamato is out of range. Yamato lands a really nice looking cross but Glass seems unphased.
Oh Glass is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Yamato feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Glass crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
