Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homo First (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Frank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Homo First! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frank scores with a takedown into First's guard. First is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Frank defends well. Frank stays in close to First's body and controls the position. Frank knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for First on the ground. First keeping moving, preventing Frank from controlling successfully. Frank has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. First is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Frank is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. First manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Frank manages to get himself to full guard.
First won't allow Frank to get back to his feet. First wants to control from the top but Frank keeps moving. First throws a big right hand that misses. First wants to stand but Frank is controlling his posture from full guard. First sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Frank's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. First is keen to just control but Frank is a slippery customer. Frank actively working from the bottom here. It looks like First is going to stand back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. First shoots in for a takedown but Frank shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. First throws a head kick that misses. First scores with a one two! Frank had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Frank Frank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. First throws a leg kick that is checked and Frank counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Frank passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for First! Frank avoids the attempt from First to control. First is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
First tries to hold on but Frank postures up. First regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frank is just content to waste time from the top position. First takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. First controls Frank momentarily but Frank frees himself. Frank wants to pass the guard but First is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frank looking to sit in guard and control but First gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. First wants to stand but Frank is controlling his posture from full guard. First throwing strikes but missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Homo First will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
First shoots in and drives through. Frank sprawls well. Frank Frank is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. First misses with a few strikes there.
First is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Frank keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. First changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Frank tries to avoid it but First manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Frank to the ground. Frank escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Frank Frank has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Homo First. First tries to score a power double leg takedown but Frank sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten First somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some wild striking there from Frank.
The fight stays on the outside here - First looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frank feints and as First raises his hands in defense, Frank changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. First is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Frank is aware though and is defending well. Frank has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of First is proving hard to escape from. First keeping moving, preventing Frank from controlling successfully. Frank postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Frank stands up over First, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. First wants to control but Frank passes easily into half guard.
First wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frank wants to lay and pray for a moment but First keeps working. First looking for submissions off his back. First slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. First keeping moving, preventing Frank from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. First controls Frank momentarily but Frank frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frank stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. First swivels though and keeps the full guard. First working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Frank. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Frank postures up in First's guard and throws a big left but First blocks it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. First throws a sloppy head kick and Frank moves out of range easily. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by First!
Frank gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. First tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frank is struggling to control the position. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Frank. Frank gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Frank breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
First lands a leg kick that knocks Frank off balance momentarily. First just misses with a punch to the body.
Frank appears to be looking for a big counter. A jab from First misses. Frank gets a clinch. First tries to break free but Frank pushes him back against the cage. Frank breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frank throws a combination but it was largely blocked by First. Frank shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches First napping and manages to drive through into side control! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! First tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Frank dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Frank misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Frank takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Frank scores with a one two! First had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Frank drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. First tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Frank wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Frank wants to control for a moment but First uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. First moves into full guard.
Frank wants to control from the top but First keeps moving. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. First throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
First looking to hit a scissor sweep but Frank is one step ahead there. First is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
First is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Frank is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Homo First!
