The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kanye to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kanye trying to stand up but can't free himself from Holman's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kanye is looking to work some ground and pound but Holman has wrist control.

Holman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kanye on the ground.
Holman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kanye is pushing down on Holman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Holman is fighting to maintain full guard but Kanye has managed to sneak the leg through.
