Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reid Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Andropov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reid Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yuri Andropov! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andropov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Knight swats him away and circles back towards the center. Knight feinted with a counter takedown. Andropov throws a head kick that misses. Knight is looking to counter with a body kick. Andropov misses with a combination
and Knight counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Andropov throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Knight knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Andropov on the ground. Knight sitting in guard, not really doing much. Andropov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andropov working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Andropov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Knight makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Andropov really felt that one! Andropov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Andropov gets in close and instigates a clinch. Knight really is a fat lump. Andropov has hold of one of Knight's legs. Knight is fighting the takedown attempt but Andropov gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Knight seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight wants to sweep here but Andropov controlling him for the moment. Knight is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Knight has an active guard here but Andropov has managed to pass into half guard.
Knight keeps control of the position for the meantime. Knight is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andropov wants to free his trapped foot but Knight is holding on for dear life with his legs. Knight is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Andropov is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Andropov wants to stand up but Knight has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Andropov throws a head kick but Knight moves out of range.
Andropov swats away the attempt to clinch by Knight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Andropov misses with a double jab
so Knight counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Knight looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Andropov trying to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Knight seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Reid Knight will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Andropov throws a combination. Knight tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Reid Knight has been cut. Knight drives through with a takedown into guard. Knight slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Andropov wants to stand up but Knight is controlling him. Knight might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight throwing strikes from guard but Andropov blocks nicely. Knight is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Knight on the wrong end of a nice hook. Andropov dives in and scores a takedown into Knight's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight is controlling Andropov's posture. Knight has momentary wrist control but Andropov slips an elbow through the middle. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Andropov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Knight is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Andropov lands a couple of decent looking shots. Knight keeping full guard, as Andropov tries to pass. Andropov trying to stand up but can't free himself from Knight's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knight wants to sweep here but Andropov controlling him for the moment. Knight pulls Andropov in close to his closed guard and prevents Andropov from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Andropov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Andropov lands in his opponent's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Andropov wants to control from the top but Knight keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knight pulls Andropov in to control the position. Andropov scoring with punches to the head and body. Knight managing to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Andropov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Knight counters with a nice body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yuri Andropov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Reid Knight's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Andropov has taken the fight to the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Andropov just misses with a elbow thrown towards Knight's brow. Knight dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Andropov letting Knight take a breather here. Knight seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. A bit of stalling here from Knight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Andropov's efforts to push away. Knight stalling the fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight is trying to force a seperation but Andropov has the dominant position. Knight has Andropov pressed against the cage, preventing Andropov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Andropov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Knight has him pressed against the cage. Andropov is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Andropov is trying to break the clinch but Knight is controlling him. Knight leaning his opponent against the cage. Andropov misses with an elbow over the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Andropov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Knight engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Andropov trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knight trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Knight is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Andropov wants to stand up but Knight is controlling him.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Andropov scores with a three punch combo!
Andropov moves to clinch but Knight breaks away and Knight counters with a nice kick to the body.

and Knight counters with a nice double leg into side control. Andropov won't be happy with that. Knight working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Andropov can't do much from the bottom here. Andropov managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Knight.
Reid Knight overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Knight remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Andropov tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! Reid Knight showed his dominance in that final round. I think Knight has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
