Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tataki Mizuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Beattie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mizuto comes to the cage accompanied by The Beginning- One Ok Rock. Tataki Mizuto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beattie throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Mizuto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Beattie.
Mizuto tries to counter with a takedown but Beattie is quick to defend against it.
Mizuto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Beattie lands a right hook to the body.
Mizuto has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Beattie finds it's way round the side to connect with Mizuto's head.

It looks like Tataki Mizuto has been cut.
Mizuto on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Beattie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Beattie lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nice straight punches there by Beattie. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Beattie.
Beattie connects with an inside leg kick.
Chris Beattie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beattie thumps Mizuto with a low kick.
Beattie throws the kick towards the body but Mizuto avoids it.
Mizuto blocks a head kick by Beattie.
Mizuto attempts a counter takedown but Beattie avoids it well and moves away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A solid leg kick lands there for Beattie.

Beattie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mizuto.

Beattie lands a big head kick that sends Mizuto tumbling to the mat! Beattie takes a step backwards and waves Mizuto back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Beattie lands a brutal uppercut that launches Mizuto off his feet! Mizuto tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
