And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edward Brown!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Brown looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Brown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brooks is just riding it out for now. Brown eventually gives up the hold.

Brown is looking for a kimura here.
Brooks is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brooks gets back to full guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Brown's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown is in close to Brooks's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Brown sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brooks's guard.
Brown controlling the pace.
Brooks tries to roll over but Brown keeps him under control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brown lands a nice short elbow.
Brown uses his free foot to push down on Brooks's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Brooks.
Brown looking to control but Brooks is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Brown looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Brown scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Brooks?
Brown with shots to the head and body - Brooks looks very uncomfortable down there.

Brooks is looking to get to half guard.
Brown has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Brown manages to capitalize on a mistake by Brooks to take his back!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brooks wants to escape the position.

Brown is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Brooks is tapping out! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Edward Brown thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
