Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fatu Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hjalti Eyj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tua kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Freak on a Leash by Korn. Eyj has chosen I'm Sexy and I Know It as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eyj has a takedown stuffed.
Eyj checks a leg kick nicely.
Tua scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Eyj misses with a takedown attempt - Tua sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tua looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Eyj shoots in but Tua avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fatu Tua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hjalti Eyj.

Eyj shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Tua pulls Eyj in close to prevent any damage.
Tua utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Eyj bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sloppy strikes there by Eyj.
Eyj throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Eyj misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Eyj tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Eyj has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Eyj goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tua has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Eyj but great work by Tua.

Tua decides to stand back up.
Eyj fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Eyj tries to close the distance and clinch but Tua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Eyj misses with a takedown attempt - Tua sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Eyj shoots for a double leg takedown but Tua sprawls well. He's pushed Eyj's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Eyj fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Eyj shoots in looking for a takedown. Tua tries to sprawl out of it but Eyj keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tua manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tua stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Tua scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Eyj doesn't seem bothered though.

Eyj throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tua's waist but Tua gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Eyj off to one side.
Eyj gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tua.
Tua tries a head kick but it misses.
Eyj closes the distance and clinches up with Tua, looking for a takedown. Eyj pushes Tua against the cage but Tua circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fatu Tua is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Eyj drops his hands momentarily and Tua takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Eyj is aggressively charging in as Tua backs up avoiding any damage. Tua tosses out a jab and Eyj runs right into it face first! Eyj is out cold! Tua dropped down on all fours and is barking in Eyj's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fatu Tua!
An out of breath and clearly excited Fatu Tua thanked Museum of Monsters & Madmen for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
