Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Fitzgerald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rollins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DMX - Party Up. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henry Rollins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Fitzgerald! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rollins throws the left hand but Fitzgerald avoids the punch easily. Fitzgerald looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Rollins closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fitzgerald's guard. Rollins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rollins stands up and waves to Fitzgerald to follow him. Rollins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rollins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fitzgerald keeps working. Rollins not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rollins working over Fitzgerald with some ground and pound. Fitzgerald looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Rollins is pressing down on Fitzgerald's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fitzgerald is holding on for now. Rollins wants to work for an arm triangle but Fitzgerald is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Fitzgerald is in Rollins's guard. Rollins had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fitzgerald defends it easily. Fitzgerald trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rollins working a defensive guard but Fitzgerald passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rollins looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fitzgerald tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rollins knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rollins wants to get back to full guard. Rollins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fitzgerald is working away from the top position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rollins is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fitzgerald shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fitzgerald thows a huge punch but Rollins dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rollins not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fitzgerald tries to clinch up. Fitzgerald tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rollins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fitzgerald throws a head kick that misses. Rollins bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Fitzgerald is not content to let Rollins control the position. Rollins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fitzgerald can do to turn this around? Fitzgerald gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitzgerald pushes Rollins off looking to stand but Rollins dives back in and keeps control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fitzgerald scores with a leg kick.
Rollins fails with the takedown and Fitzgerald counters with a two punch combo. Rollins shoots for a takedown but Fitzgerald saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rollins takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Fitzgerald fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rollins to the ground. Fitzgerald is now in Rollins's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fitzgerald wants to stand but Rollins has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rollins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fitzgerald can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simon Fitzgerald showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rollins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fitzgerald preventing the sweep.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Henry Rollins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fitzgerald scores with a slapping inside leg kick. No joy there for Fitzgerald, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rollins doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Rollins shoots in for a double leg but Fitzgerald sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rollins's half guard. Rollins is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fitzgerald's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fitzgerald's back! Rollins working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Fitzgerald defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Fitzgerald. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Rollins trying to control momentarily.
