Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denard Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Steel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Immortal Technique-Point of no return. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Black will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Black walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Denard Black has been cut.
Black throws a series of punches but Steel avoids them all with ease.
Steel drops his hands momentarily and Black takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

As Steel backs off Black throws a huge counter combo but Steel manages to avoid it all.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Steel with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Black to score with a decent uppercut.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Steel might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Steel lands a brutal uppercut that launches Black off his feet! Black tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

In his post fight interview, Cory Steel started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
