Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Ufcowski jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Kaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ufcowski jr comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot - Duality . Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

We've been hearing reports that Ufcowski jr has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Ufcowski jr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kaz's sensitive parts. Kaz attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Ufcowski jr appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kaz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ufcowski jr changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. A clash of legs there as Kaz blocks the low kick. Kaz misses the shot to the body. Ufcowski jr takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Max Kaz has been cut. Ufcowski jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Kaz tries to sprawl out of it but Ufcowski jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kaz attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. A head kick misses from Kaz. Ufcowski jr drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kaz sprawls and moves away. Kaz slips a straight right by Ufcowski jr.
Ufcowski jr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kaz keeping moving, preventing Ufcowski jr from controlling successfully. Kaz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ufcowski jr is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A nice left hand lands by Ufcowski jr.

Kaz wants to stand and escape but Ufcowski jr is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ufcowski jr is taking a break and basically stalling. Ufcowski jr on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Ufcowski jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kaz defends well and Ufcowski jr ends up having to push Kaz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kaz tries to clinch but Ufcowski jr moves out of range. Kaz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kaz throws a solid leg kick but Ufcowski jr takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kaz. Ufcowski jr dips to his left and cracks Kaz with an uppercut! Ufcowski jr lands with a cross. Kaz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Ufcowski jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kaz pinned against the cage. Kaz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Max Kaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kaz scores with a kick to the midsection. Kaz's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Ufcowski jr needs to keep his hands up - Kaz had a free shot at his head there.
Ufcowski jr gets the takedown into side control. Ufcowski jr wants to control for a moment but Kaz uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Kaz is not content to let Ufcowski jr control the position. Ufcowski jr tries to pass to full mount but Kaz defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kaz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kaz. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pawel Ufcowski jr dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Max Kaz's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Kaz slips under a jab from Ufcowski jr. Kaz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Ufcowski jr connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Ufcowski jr stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kaz. Kaz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kaz throws a wild body kick that Ufcowski jr sees coming a mile off. Ufcowski jr cracks Kaz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ufcowski jr lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kaz swings for the body but Ufcowski jr moves out of range.

Ufcowski jr takes a kick to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ufcowski jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kaz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Kaz throws a body punch but Ufcowski jr moves out of range. Kaz ducks under a wild hook from Ufcowski jr. Kaz was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Both fighters circling a little - Kaz finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Ufcowski jr throws out a powerful jab. Kaz is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ufcowski jr. Jab, jab by Kaz - just one landing. A good leg kick by Kaz. Kaz throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ufcowski jr's head.

Kaz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ufcowski jr throws out the jab. Kaz only half commits to the counter leg kick. Kaz walks into a left hand. Kaz has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. A lazy body kick from Kaz
and Ufcowski jr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ufcowski jr throwing strikes but missing. Ufcowski jr wants to control from the top but Kaz keeps moving. Kaz is controlling Ufcowski jr's posture. Kaz keeping moving, preventing Ufcowski jr from controlling successfully.

Kaz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ufcowski jr is trying to control but can't.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kaz landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Kaz trying to mount his opponent but Ufcowski jr defends it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pawel Ufcowski jr. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ufcowski jr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
