Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alex Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mc Marcinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mc Marcinho was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marcinho bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Marcinho thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Taylor tries to escape but Marcinho is in control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marcinho wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Taylor, who protects the arm well.
Taylor manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Marcinho stops Taylor from getting back to his feet.

Marcinho is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Taylor doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Marcinho.
Taylor makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Taylor.

Taylor had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Marcinho is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Taylor Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Marcinho's back instead.

Marcinho is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Taylor controlling well, preventing Marcinho from escaping the position.
Marcinho manages to reverse the position and now he's in Taylor's guard. Nice work there by Marcinho.
Taylor wants to stand up but Marcinho is controlling him.

Taylor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Marcinho wants to get back to full guard.

Taylor wants to work for an arm triangle but Marcinho is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Taylor wants to stand but Marcinho has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Alex Taylor will probably get the nod.

Marcinho closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Taylor to the mat! Taylor manages to get full guard.

Taylor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marcinho gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Marcinho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taylor swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Taylor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marcinho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Marcinho slips nicely into half guard.

Marcinho passes the guard and advances to mount!
Taylor tries to buck Marcinho off but he can't manage it.
Marcinho can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Taylor is looking to escape.
Marcinho manages to capitalize on a mistake by Taylor to take his back!

Marcinho is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Taylor with him. Taylor is trying to defend but Marcinho has an arm under the chin now! Taylor grimaces and is forced to tap out!
