Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brayan Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brayan Fernandez! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fernandez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fernandez is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Fernandez tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sanchez counters with a nice body shot. Sanchez tries to clinch but Fernandez moves out of range. Sanchez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fernandez regains half guard. Sanchez scoring with strikes to the body and head. Sanchez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sanchez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sanchez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fernandez can do anything to dispel that myth. Sanchez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fernandez sees it coming and defends easily. Sanchez is keen to just control but Fernandez is a slippery customer. Fernandez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sanchez prevents Fernandez from improving his position. Sanchez seems to be working for a kimura but Fernandez defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez with the ground and pound but Fernandez uses the opportunity to regain guard. Fernandez trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Fernandez preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sanchez controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sanchez wants to control from the top but Fernandez keeps moving. Sanchez works a leg free and moves into half guard. Sanchez working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Sanchez there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fernandez scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Sanchez manages to mount him!

The referee warns Fernandez that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Fernandez is rocked! Sanchez loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Fernandez scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Sanchez land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Sanchez stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pablo Sanchez! An out of breath Pablo Sanchez thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
