Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Taylor throws a nice looking combination but Meier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Meier drops down looking for a counter takedown but Taylor sprawls and moves away.

Meier fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Meier shoots in but Taylor avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Meier drives through and clinches with Taylor against the cage.
Taylor lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Taylor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The referee is keeping an eye on Taylor - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Meier tries for a takedown but Taylor manages to get underhooks.

Taylor connects with a knee to the head.
Taylor manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Taylor crunches a lovely knee into Meier's ribcage.
Taylor gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Taylor throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Meier blocks it with crossed arms.

Meier jumps guard and drags Taylor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Meier is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Taylor has his hands clasped together but Meier extends and breaks Taylor's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Meier.
