1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Winchester! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winchester throws a body punch but Bison moves out of range. Bison looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Winchester just misses with a punch to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bison or perhaps it was just good defense by Winchester, which made it look bad. Bison moves out of range of the body kick. Winchester moves into the clinch. A bit of stalling here from Winchester.
Bison misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Winchester.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Winchester obliges. Winchester tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winchester manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Winchester gets a trip takedown into half guard. We've been hearing good reports from Bison's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Winchester looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Winchester is nestled in close to Bison, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Winchester lands strikes from half guard.
