Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Pawel Konopacki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Marcelo Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Garcia duly obliges.
Garcia waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Konopacki.
Konopacki throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Konopacki closes the distance and lands a one-two.
An inside leg kick from Konopacki misses.
Garcia jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Garcia misses with a wild body shot.
Konopacki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garcia circles away quickly and effectively.
Garcia changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Konopacki defending well as Garcia loads up on a big left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Garcia throws out a loose jab but Konopacki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Garcia lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Garcia.
Garcia misses with a two punch combination.
It looked like Konopacki wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Konopacki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Konopacki enables Garcia to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Konopacki manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Konopacki slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Garcia is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Konopacki is aware though and is defending well.

Garcia has momentary wrist control but Konopacki slips an elbow through the middle.
Garcia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Konopacki throws a counter high kick but Garcia was just alert enough to avoid it.

Konopacki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Konopacki wants it to stay on the feet.
Garcia ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Konopacki moves away.
Garcia misses with a few strikes there.
Konopacki clobbers Garcia with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Garcia dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Konopacki looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Konopacki connects with the punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Garcia tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Konopacki defends well and Garcia ends up having to push Konopacki into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Good leg kick by Konopacki there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Garcia is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Konopacki.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Garcia shoots in for a double leg but Konopacki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pawel Konopacki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcelo Garcia.

It looks like Konopacki has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Garcia crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Konopacki - the referee stops the clock and Garcia gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Konopacki. Garcia manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Konopacki feints and then cracks Garcia's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Garcia down.

Konopacki lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Konopacki lands a lovely overhand right.
Garcia throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Garcia throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Konopacki ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Konopacki slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The fighters circle, before Konopacki throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Garcia's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Konopacki lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Pawel Konopacki!
