Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Burns tries for a takedown but Wessel circles away easily
and Wessel makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Burns fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wessel avoids it really well and circles away.
Burns shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wessel pinned against the cage. Wessel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Burns takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burns tries to clinch there but Wessel circles away.
Wessel scores with a head kick.
It looks like James Burns has been cut.
James Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wessel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Burns.
Burns misses with a left hand
and Wessel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Burns fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wessel avoids it really well and circles away.
Burns is breathing heavily.

A shot to the liver by Wessel. Beautiful body shot.
Wessel ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Wessel. Burns shrugs it off though.
Wessel lands a nice looking body kick.
Wessel scores with a kick to the body.
Wessel lands a big head kick that sends Burns tumbling to the mat! Wessel takes a step backwards and waves Burns back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wessel fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Burns sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Peter Wessel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Wessel. Burns shrugs it off though.
Wessel drops Burns with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Burns looks back up at him and smiles so Wessel waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
James Burns's cut is getting worse.
Wessel scoring well with a low kick there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice leg kick lands there from Wessel.
Burns shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wessel pinned against the cage. Wessel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Wessel.
Wessel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Burns doesn't seem bothered though.
Burns throws a sloppy head kick and Wessel moves out of range easily.
Wessel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wessel is looking to slow Burns down with leg kicks.
Wessel throws a leg kick which misses Burns's front leg but catches the back leg as Burns tries to avoid it.
Both fighters circling a little - Wessel finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Burns on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Burns takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
James Burns's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Burns is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wessel throws a front kick that sends Burns stumbling back into the cage.
Wessel lands a big right hand that sends Burns crashing to the mat! Wessel stays standing though and waves Burns back to his feet!
Burns is rocked!
Jeez, James Burns's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at James Burns's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
