The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a double leg but Evil sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Smith's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Evil goes for an armbar but Smith turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Smith.
Evil looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Smith has picked Evil up and slammed him! Evil can't keep hold of the triangle and Smith manages to pass to side control!

Evil tries to control but Smith manages to take his back.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roland Smith.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Smith, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
