Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigez throws a nice inside leg kick.
A left and a right from Il Loco both land. Nice combination.
Il Loco goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Rodrigez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Il Loco napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rodrigez decides to stand back up. Rodrigez steps back and let's Il Loco get back to his feet.
Rodrigez scores with a takedown into Il Loco's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rodrigez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Il Loco's guard.
Rodrigez with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Rodrigez postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Il Loco to stand up.
Rodrigez gets a double leg takedown into Il Loco's guard.
Il Loco working a defensive guard but Rodrigez passes into half guard.

Rodrigez decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Rodrigez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rodrigez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Il Loco is trying to get back to half guard.
Il Loco seems a little lost for a moment, as Rodrigez dominates the positioning.
Rodrigez decides to stand back up.
Il Loco shoots in looking for a takedown but Rodrigez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Il Loco's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Il Loco is breathing heavily.
Il Loco looks to score with a jab to the body but Rodrigez is just out of range.
Rodrigez misses with a wild body shot.
Rodrigez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Il Loco on his heels. He'll look to pass Il Loco's guard now, I'm sure.

Rodrigez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Rodrigez postures up and lands a big shot to Il Loco's brow.
Rodrigez seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rodrigez is taking a breather. Il Loco says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rodrigez is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Il Loco is in trouble now - Rodrigez has advanced to mount!

Il Loco tries to clinch but Rodrigez is having none of it.
Rodrigez is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Il Loco is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rodrigez wants to counter the offense by Il Loco and move into the clinch position.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Il Loco enables Rodrigez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Il Loco manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Rodrigez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stephano Rodrigez dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rodrigez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Il Loco's guard.
Rodrigez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Il Loco knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rodrigez on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodrigez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Rodrigez drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Rodrigez as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Il Loco screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Rodrigez! Nice submission victory there!
