Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guadalupe May (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Shawn Michaels enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Guadalupe May! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shawn Michaels! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! May shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Michaels is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Michaels tries to land a sweep but no joy. May drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and May jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. May wants to control from the top but Michaels keeps moving. Michaels wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Michaels kicks May off and gets to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick misses from Michaels. Michaels shoots in for a takedown and gets it. This has been an exciting period of action! May trying to hold on to Michaels's head to control him but Michaels postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. May is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. May trying to control from the bottom.
Michaels tries to pass the half guard into mount. May knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. May is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Michaels wants to free his trapped foot but May is holding on for dear life with his legs. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Michaels is looking to take a break and control but May is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Michaels darts in and clinches May up against the cage. May drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. May being controlled here, momentarily. May has his hands on Michaels's head, controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. May lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Michaels is working an open guard so May takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Shawn Michaels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. May shoots for a takedown but Michaels saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. May gets caught napping as Michaels dives in and scores a takedown. May manages to retain guard. Michaels throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as May works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Michaels is looking to pass into half guard but May pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now May is in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Michaels trying to keep a closed guard but May is proving a slippery customer.
Michaels looking for a sweep. Not yet Michaels, not yet. May slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Michaels thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Michaels is controlling May's posture. May is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. May stands and steps away. Michaels gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Shawn Michaels will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Michaels avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. May wants to clinch up but Michaels keeps it at a distance. May decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Michaels tries to get to full guard but May has control of the leg. May is trying to control the action in half guard but Michaels is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. May sitting and controlling from the half guard. May wants to free his trapped foot but Michaels is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michaels wants to get back to full guard. Michaels manages to escape and get back to his feet! Michaels gets a clinch. May gets control of Michaels's arms and successfully pulls guard. May will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. May will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Michaels wants to stand and escape but instead May has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. May lands a couple of digs. Michaels is trying to control the position but May postures up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Michaels can do anything to dispel that myth. Michaels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with May. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. May stands up and waves to Michaels to follow him. Michaels fails with the takedown. May tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Michaels manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Michaels. May is looking for a counter combo. Michaels is breathing heavily. May avoids the head kick by Michaels.
May tries to clinch but Michaels is having none of it. Michaels will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Michaels just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMay. Guadalupe May has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Michaels. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! May is looking to clinch but Michaels is avoiding it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Michaels shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. May defends it nicely. May decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. May takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Ground and pound from May. May working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Michaels actively working from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. May stalling. May winds up and cracks Michaels with a swinging punch to the side of the head. May is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
May looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Michaels with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. May sitting and controlling from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Guadalupe May dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

May seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Michaels taking some punishment here, with May in his half guard. May tries to stand but can't do so whilst Michaels controls his leg. Michaels wants to control but May is keeping busy.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Michaels clinches with his opponent.

May prevents Michaels from getting back to his feet. Michaels takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. May trying to control but Michaels is working from the bottom. May gets to his feet - Michaels follows without any prompting. May shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Michaels as he jumps to the side. Michaels shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. May is trying to defend but Michaels finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Michaels is keen to just control but May is a slippery customer. Michaels is thwarting May's attempts to control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Michaels is trying to control. May wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Michaels chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Michaels takes the fight into the clinch. Michaels is trying to push May away but May has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Guadalupe May. I think May has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
