Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vermin Supreme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vermin Supreme! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The One! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ben Hemmingworth and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Supreme tries to avoid it but One manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Supreme to the ground. Supreme escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. One dives in and grabs Supreme's left leg, looking for a takedown. Supreme pushes down on One's head and hops out. One tries to land a front kick but Supreme steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. One throws a head kick that misses. Supreme closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming One to the mat! One manages to get full guard. One keeping full guard, as Supreme tries to pass. One keeping moving, preventing Supreme from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Supreme is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Supreme stands and throws One's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. One wants to control but Supreme postures up. Supreme trying to control the position but One is working away. Supreme looking to punish the body of his opponent here but One is avoiding damage well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. One is looking to reverse the position. The ground and pound from Supreme seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Supreme throws an elbow but One slips to the side and avoids it well. One wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! One is letting Supreme control him for a moment. Supreme throwing shots but missing, from side control. One takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. One tries to escape but Supreme is in control. One parries the strikes from Supreme easily there. Supreme is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable One to escape.
Supreme tries to score with some ground and pound. One controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Supreme throws a strike aimed at the side of One's head but One avoids it well. Supreme knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for One on the ground. Supreme misses with an attempted head punch from side control. One gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Supreme is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but One still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, One has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Supreme wants to control but One postures up.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! One missing with the ground and pound from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vermin Supreme dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
One is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Supreme fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Supreme takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The One is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. One goes for a double leg but Supreme avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Supreme continues to drive forward. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. One shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Supreme but Supreme pushes him off and we're back to square one. A left and a right from One both land. Nice combination. One throws a sloppy head kick and Supreme counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Supreme. Supreme has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. One avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. One with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

One is trying to force a seperation but Supreme has the dominant position. Supreme is trying to drag One to the mat but One just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Supreme is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but One is defending well. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Supreme uses from the top position. Supreme wants to control from the top but One keeps moving. Supreme postures up.

Nice takedown defense from One. No joy for Supreme on that attempt. Supreme fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. One throws a big counter head kick but Supreme avoids it with no problem. One shoots in for a takedown but Supreme shows good takedown defense. One takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Supreme closes the distance and pushes One back into the cage. Supreme tries to score a body lock takedown but One shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Supreme throws a head punch that misses. One jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Supreme walks away with a smile on his face. One gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Supreme keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Supreme tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but One defends well and Supreme ends up having to push One into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Supreme swats away the attempt to clinch by One. Supreme takes one on the button. Supreme shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says One as he avoids it easily. No luck for Supreme with that takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One throws a leg kick but Supreme sees it coming and moves out of range. Sloppy strikes from One. Those never looked like landing. One shoots for a takedown but Supreme saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. An attempted straight right counter from Supreme misses the target. One throws the kick towards the body but Supreme avoids it. One fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. One is looking to clinch but Supreme is avoiding it.

One unleashes a big counter combination but Supreme bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Supreme tries for a takedown but One sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. One doesn't manage to clinch there - Supreme circles away.
