The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Acero closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jackson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Jackson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Acero has him pressed against the cage.
Acero keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jackson's efforts to push away.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Acero has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Acero's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Acero throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Acero is in Jackson's guard.

Acero lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Well Acero has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
