Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Edison Faulkner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mac Daddy!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daddy scores with a takedown into Faulkner's guard.
Daddy trying to control but Faulkner is working from the bottom.
Daddy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Faulkner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Faulkner wants to sweep here but Daddy controlling him for the moment.
Faulkner working for a triangle but Daddy defends it easily.
Daddy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Faulkner is proving hard to escape from.
Daddy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daddy is stalling in the full guard.
Daddy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Daddy advances position into side control!
Daddy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Faulkner is looking to reverse the position.
Daddy lands a few punches from side control.
Faulkner tries to buck Daddy off but Daddy is having none of it.
Daddy is looking to take a break and control but Faulkner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Faulkner is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Daddy stands up.
Faulkner keeps the fight on the outside.

A head kick misses from Daddy.
Daddy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Faulkner drops down looking for a counter takedown but Daddy sprawls and moves away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Faulkner.
Daddy is looking for the big counter here.
Daddy lands with a big left! Faulkner is wobbled badly! Daddy comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Faulkner to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
