Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ricardo Rios! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Conor Harris! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rios throws a jab but it's blocked by Harris. Harris is looking to clinch. Harris checks a leg kick. Rios throws a body kick that misses. Rios scores with a kick to the midsection. Harris moves out of range as Rios throws a body kick.
Rios walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Harris checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Harris misses with a few strikes there.
Rios swings away with a leg kick that misses. Harris doesn't manage to clinch there - Rios circles away.
Rios has Harris up against the cage in a clinch.
Harris is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rios to keep the fight standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short right from Rios on the inside. Rios lands a body shot in the clinch.
Rios tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Harris changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rios fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Harris throws a right and a left that Rios avoids nicely. And Rios counters with a quick kick to the body but Harris blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Harris gets a clinch. Harris goes for a takedown attempt but Rios pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ricardo Rios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conor Harris. Rios fails to land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Harris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rios goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Rios is looking to land body kicks. A bone on bone clash there as Harris blocks the leg kick.

Harris throws a right and a left that Rios avoids nicely. Rios throws a good cross that connects.
Rios throws a low kick but Harris avoids it. Rios keeps Harris at a distance using the push kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rios throws a hook but Harris avoids it easily. Harris doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Harris throws a hook but Rios blocks it. Rios is looking to counter the offense by Harris and move into the clinch. Rios throws a nice inside leg kick. Harris dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rios lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. The fight stays on the outside here - Harris looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rios tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Harris lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rios backs up against the cage.

and Rios counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Harris lands a slapping body shot.
Harris fails in his attempt to clinch. Rios half committed to a counter leg kick. Harris throws a head kick that misses. Rios clinches up against the cage. Rios misses with some punches.

Rios lands with a right to the head. Rios fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Harris wants to get back to striking at distance but Rios won't allow it.
Rios lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Rios tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris tries to break free but Rios pushes him back against the cage. Rios misses with a punch to the body.
Harris blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Harris has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rios avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Still in the clinch, Rios scores with a nice short uppercut. Harris is working for takedown but Rios is calmly controlling the position for now. Harris is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Harris pulls guard. Harris trying to control the position here. Rios in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Harris looking for a sweep. Not yet Harris, not yet. Rios postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris wants to stand but Rios is controlling the position. Rios looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Harris has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Rios is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Harris goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rios prevents it.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Harris changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rios fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rios throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rios misses with a series of wild punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Rios dominated that round. That's time! Rios's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A low kick from Rios is predictable there and Harris counters with a three punch combo that has Rios backing up. Rios nods at Harris to acknowledge the strikes.
It looks like Ricardo Rios has been cut. Harris throws a front kick aimed at Rios's knee but Rios avoids it well. A looping hook to the body misses from Harris. Rios does a little dance to reset his feet. Some wild striking there from Harris.
Harris moves out of range as Rios throws a body kick.
Rios bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Harris misses with a double jab
and Rios counters with a nice uppercut. Harris takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Rios throws a half hearted mid kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris throws a right and a left that both miss. Ricardo Rios is winning the standup battle so far. Rios lands a nice looking body shot.

A head kick misses from Harris. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rios swats away the attempt to clinch by Harris.

Harris takes one on the button. Rios lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Rios pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Conor Harris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A slapping body kick lands there for Rios. Rios is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Harris can do to turn this around? Rios fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Harris closes the distance and clinches. Harris tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rios smiles and moves away.
Harris throws a leg kick which misses Rios's front leg but catches the back leg as Rios tries to avoid it. Rios throws the left hand but Harris avoids the punch easily. A head kick by Rios misses and Harris counters with a three punch combo that has Rios backing up. Rios nods at Harris to acknowledge the strikes. Harris throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rios feints and then cracks Harris's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Harris down. Rios rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Harris counter with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris throws a body punch but Rios moves out of range. That kick from Harris tenderised Rios's leg. Rios is trying to keep his angry face on. Harris avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rios throws a low kick but it's checked well by Harris. Harris lands a high kick!
Harris takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Harris scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Harris connects with a solid leg kick. Sloppy strikes from Harris. Those never looked like landing. Rios fails with an attempt to clinch.
Harris wants to clinch up but Rios keeps it at a distance. Rios blocks a head kick by Harris.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rios. Harris misses with a low kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rios tries to clinch but fails miserably and Harris counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Harris rushes Rios and presses him up against the cage. I was talking to Rios's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Rios lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Harris prevents a body shot from Rios. A hook to the body from Rios.
Rios misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Rios lands an uppercut. A nice glancing elbow lands by Rios. Harris is trying to pull guard but Rios has him pressed against the cage. Rios misses with a hook from the clinch. Harris tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rios can't find room to land a body shot as Harris controls the action.
Harris is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rios is defending well. Ricardo Rios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conor Harris. Harris tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Harris is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice uppercut lands for Rios. That snapped Harris's head back.
Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rios paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rios throws a body kick that misses. Harris unleashes a big counter combination but Rios bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Harris takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rios scores with a punch to the head.
Harris is rocked! Are you kidding me?! Rios ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Harris clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
