Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Neal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michal Sobota!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobota fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Sobota clinches up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sobota - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Sobota lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Neal backwards.
Neal is looking to take this one to the mat.
Neal is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Neal swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Sobota ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sobota no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sobota has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Neal has passed into side control.
Sobota is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Neal asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Sobota is trying to control Neal's posture but Neal avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Neal tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Neal trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Sobota really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Neal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Neal creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Neal staying calm.
Sobota is working to avoid the ground and pound but Neal connects with a decent elbow.
Neal cracks Sobota with a big elbow.
Neal lands a few punches from side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neal is putting a hurting on Sobota here, landing some big shots from side control.


Sobota is rocked!


It looks like Michal Sobota has been cut.
Neal lands a strong strike to the head of Sobota. That's dazed him! Neal looking to finish here. Sobota is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Neal lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tim Neal!
