Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Meade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Ljashko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oleg Ljashko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josh Meade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Ljashko! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ljashko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Meade, pushing him back against the ropes. Meade wants to get back to striking at distance but Ljashko won't allow it.
Ljashko will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Meade up against the ropes. A short body shot lands from Ljashko as the two fighters clinch.
Ljashko told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Ljashko has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and Meade goes down! Ljashko pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!
It looks like Josh Meade has been cut. Meade is breathing heavily. Ljashko tries to advance to mount but can't. Meade struggling a bit here. We've been hearing good reports from Meade's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Meade being controlled for a moment. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ljashko is continuing to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meade is not content to let Ljashko control the position. Ljashko controls the position from side control. The adventures of Ljashko the control monster continue. Boring.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Meade is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ljashko asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ljashko decides to stand up, so the ref orders Meade to his feet. Meade fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Meade lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Meade.
It looks like Oleg Ljashko has been cut. Meade tries to bum rush Ljashko with a series of wild strikes but Ljashko uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Meade digs a good hook to Ljashko's body.
Meade throws a combination. Ljashko tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Ljashko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Meade is trying to break the clinch but Ljashko has him pressed against the ropes. Ljashko has Meade pressed against the ropes, preventing Meade from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A left hand lands to the body for Ljashko.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ljashko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ljashko fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Ljashko gets a clinch. Ljashko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Meade tries to keep at a distance but Ljashko has taken the fight into the clinch. Meade tries to circle away but Ljashko has him pinned against the ropes. Meade is trying to push Ljashko away but Ljashko has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Ljashko avoiding damage.
Ljashko prevents Meade from breaking the clinch. Ljashko lands a hook that snaps the head of Meade backwards. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Ljashko tries to land a knee to the head but Meade blocks with his arms.
Meade takes a knee to the side of the body. Ljashko stalling the fight.
Ljashko lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ljashko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ljashko circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Meade drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Ljashko follows Meade to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oleg Ljashko!
