Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chris Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ernesto Hoost! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoost avoids the head kick by Johnson.
Johnson has Hoost up against the ropes in a clinch.
Johnson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hoost's efforts to push away. Johnson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hoost tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hoost is looking to clinch. Johnson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Johnson tries to clinch there but Hoost circles away.
Hoost wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance. It looked like Johnson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Some wild striking there from Hoost.
Hoost should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Johnson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Hoost wants to counter the offense by Johnson and move into the clinch position. Johnson throws a head kick that misses. Hoost tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Johnson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Johnson clinches with his opponent.

Johnson throws a leg kick but Hoost moved away. Johnson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Hoost is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoost tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance. Hoost misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Johnson darts in and clinches Hoost up against the ropes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Johnson blocks a body shot from Hoost. Johnson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hoost's efforts to push away. Hoost wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Johnson has him pressed against the ropes. Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Johnson throws a right hand that Hoost ducks under and follows up with a left that Hoost also avoids with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson throws the kick towards the body but Hoost avoids it. Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Hoost. Johnson digs a good body shot into Hoost's ribs. Hoost tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Johnson rushes Hoost and presses him up against the ropes. Johnson keeps control of Hoost as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Hoost lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Johnson lands a shoulder strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson missing with knees to the body.
Hoost tries to land knees in the clinch but Johnson avoids the damage to the body. Hoost has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hoost! But no joy. Johnson rushes Hoost and presses him up against the ropes. Hoost being controlled against the ropes. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Hoost is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Johnson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Johnson tries to break free but Hoost pushes him back against the ropes. Hoost looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Johnson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Johnson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chris Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson lands with a right hand. Hoost misses with a body shot.
Johnson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hoost. Johnson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hoost can do to turn this around? Johnson instigates a clinch. Hoost tries to stall but Johnson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hoost is trying to break free. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Johnson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hoost tries to circle away but Johnson has him pinned against the ropes. Hoost working hard to break the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Johnson dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Hoost wants to clinch enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab.
Hoost is rocked! Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Hoost in a clinch.
Hoost is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him? Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Johnson plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Hoost swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Hoost face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
