The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost avoids the head kick by Johnson.

Johnson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Hoost tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.
Hoost misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Hoost is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Johnson with a body shot.

Johnson darts in and clinches Hoost up against the ropes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hoost! But no joy.

Johnson rushes Hoost and presses him up against the ropes.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Hoost is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Johnson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Johnson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hoost can do to turn this around?

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Johnson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hoost tries to circle away but Johnson has him pinned against the ropes.
