Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Conner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conner comes to the cage accompanied by The Man Who Sold The World. Shaw comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Family Force 5 - Chainsaw kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Wayne Conner has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wayne Conner seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wayne Conner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Shaw! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaw keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Conner. Shaw takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Shaw takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Conner lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. We've been informed that Shaw has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. A punch lands to the side of Shaw 's head but he takes it in his stride. Conner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shaw manages to avoid it. Shaw staying out of range there. Shaw on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conner misses with a lunging right hand
and Shaw counters with a lovely straight right hand! A slow jab from Conner misses its intended target. Conner catches Shaw with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Conner thows a left - swing and a miss! Shaw is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shaw. Conner throws a lazy uppercut
and Shaw counters with a stiff right hand. Shaw throws a head kick but Conner moves out of range.
Conner cracks the inside of Shaw's front leg. Conner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shaw shapes to counter with a head kick. Conner misses with a hook. Shaw keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Conner. Shaw avoids the head kick by Conner.
Shaw throws a fast counter high kick but Conner manages to duck under it in time. Conner throws a leg kick but Shaw checks it. It seemed like Shaw was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Wayne Conner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Conner throws out a loose jab but Shaw uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaw on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A good leg kick by Conner. A jab from Conner misses. A punch combination from Conner misses. Conner looks to land a left hand but Shaw moved out of range nicely. Shaw throws a poor cross that misses
and Conner counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Shaw thinking. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Conner cracks the inside of Shaw's front leg. Shaw takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A decent looking cross lands there for Conner. Shaw throws a head kick that Conner semi-blocks.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Conner throws a jab but it's blocked by Shaw. Shaw is looking for the big counter here. Shaw throws a hook but Conner blocks it. Conner throws a lazy uppercut
and Shaw counters with a lovely shot to the body. Conner connects with a solid leg kick. Shaw uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Conner. Shaw appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Conner tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Conner throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Shaw counters with a crisp one two that drops Conner! Shaw thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Conner to his feet! Conner is in big trouble!
Conner is rocked! Conner throws out a loose jab but Shaw uses good head movement to avoid it. Oh Conner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Conner rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shaw counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Conner falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jack Shaw! A relieved looking Jack Shaw thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
