Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roberto Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Koichi Kamei!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kamei!

Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kamei pinned against the ropes. Kamei gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kamei displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
Kamei lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roberto Silva.
I think Kamei has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
