Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Victorio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victorio has chosen Nightingale - The Glory Days as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tommy Victorio!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victorio looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Victorio wants to pass the guard but Rua is keeping the position.
Victorio controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Rua can't keep his opponent in guard - Victorio advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Rua looks for the body kick but Victorio saw that one coming.
Rua throws a leg kick which misses Victorio's front leg but catches the back leg as Victorio tries to avoid it.
Rua throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Victorio steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Rua.
Rua gets caught flat footed, as Victorio shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rua not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rua utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Victorio trying to control the position from guard on top but Rua is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Victorio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rua swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Victorio is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Victorio shoots in and bounces Rua off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Victorio wants to control from the top but Rua keeps moving.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rua is on top in guard.

Rua lands with an uppercut that bounces Victorio off the ropes and back into range.
Rua lands a nice leg kick that just misses Victorio's sensitive parts.
Rua wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rua cracks a nice hook into Victorio's ribs.
Victorio wants to clinch up but Rua keeps it at a distance.
Rua appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Rua fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Victorio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Victorio looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rua, right into the meat.
Rua gets caught napping as Victorio dives in and scores a takedown. Rua manages to retain guard.

Rua has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Victorio has passed into side control.

Victorio wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rua, who protects the arm well.

Victorio drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rua manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Victorio has Rua in his guard.
Rua sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Victorio's guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Victorio is looking for a sweep. Rua is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Rua is thwarting Victorio's attempts to control the position.

Rua is looking to advance position but Victorio won't allow it.
Victorio makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Victorio.
Victorio has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rua can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rua does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rua lunges at Victorio with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Victorio's hand.
Victorio shoots in and drives through. Rua sprawls well.
Victorio clinches up with Rua and pushes him back against the ropes.
Rua pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.

Victorio gets control of Rua's arms and successfully pulls guard. Victorio will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Rua is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Victorio is just riding it out for now. Rua eventually gives up the hold.
Rua thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Victorio's head.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rua throws a head kick but Victorio moves out of range.
Good leg kick by Rua there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

I would just about give that final round to Tommy Victorio.
