Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Myles Newell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and White counters with a series of strikes that sends Newell to the canvas! White follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
White would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Despite the aggression on White's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Newell tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
White connects with a body shot.
Newell swats away the attempt to clinch by White.
White throws a sloppy head kick and Newell moves out of range easily.

Newell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Myles Newell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Newell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Newell dodges the punch combination from White.
A looping hook to the body misses from Newell. White does a little dance to reset his feet.
White throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Newell colapses and takes a barrage of punches from White as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Newell is left battered and dazed whilst White and his camp cheer!
