Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Tennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tennant was well out of range. Poor timing from Norton.
Despite the aggression on Tennant's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Norton ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tennant takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Tennant throws out a loose jab but Norton uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tennant misses with a straight right.
Tennant misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Norton.
Tennant digs a good body shot into Norton's ribs.

and Norton counters with a straight right hand.
Norton stuns Tennant with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Norton scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tennant doesn't seem bothered though.

Tennant misses with a right hand
and Norton counters with a crisp right hand that drops Tennant! Norton lets Tennant back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Norton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tennant looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Norton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Norton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Norton slips a jab from Tennant.
Tennant throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Norton sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tennant throws a jab but it's blocked by Norton.
Tennant misses with a double jab
and Norton counters with a nice body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A looping hook to the body misses from Norton. Tennant does a little dance to reset his feet.

Norton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Tennant uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Norton.
Norton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Norton moves away from the strike by Tennant.

and Norton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Norton cracks Tennant with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Norton has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tennant to stand back up!
Norton is looking to wear down Tennant with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Tennant missing with a left hand there. Norton was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Norton is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Tennant misses with a wild body shot.
Norton sends Tennant crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Norton is motioning to the referee to let Tennant up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Tennant is still on wobbly legs! Can Norton finish him?
Tennant drops his hands momentarily. Norton doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Tennant staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Tennant doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Scott Norton!
Scott Norton very nearly forgot to thank Fury Nutrition Inc. amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
David Tennant was interviewed post fight and said 'Sorry guys, I will improve myself again.'.
