Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carver Cade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blaze might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tupac ft Lil Mo - Niggaz Nature. Carver Cade has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
49 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Blaze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Carver Cade! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blaze checks a leg kick. Cade tries to close the distance and clinch but Blaze swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cade misses with a kick to the body.
Blaze cracks Cade with an open hand slap. Cade fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blaze avoids it really well and circles away. Cade lands with a thumping leg kick.
Cade slips under a jab. Blaze definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Cade clinches up against the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Cade.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blaze takes a shot to the head. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cade. Cade has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Blaze clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cade throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Cade throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blaze is really stuck here.
Cade punches the canvas rather than the man. Cade throwing sloppy strikes. Blaze covering up well and avoiding damage. Cade has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cade lands a shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blaze is trying to break free.
Cade throws strikes from the back but Blaze rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Blaze. Cade wants to control from the top but Blaze keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blaze working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cade. Cade trying to control but Blaze is working from the bottom. Blaze is adopting a defensive guard. Blaze keeping moving, preventing Cade from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cade with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Blaze being controlled here, momentarily. Blaze utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Blaze tries a low kick but Cade avoids it. Cade appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Cade throws a looping overhand right but Blaze ducks down to avoid it. Blaze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A decent looking body kick lands there for Cade. Blaze checks a leg kick. Blaze shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Blaze slips under a jab. Cade lands with a shot to the body. Cade fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blaze looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Blaze, as that shot connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cade looks to score with a jab to the body but Blaze is just out of range. Sloppy strikes from Cade. Those never looked like landing. Cade tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blaze swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cade throws a jab when Blaze was well out of range. Cade throws a body kick that misses. An inside leg kick from Cade misses. Cade throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cade throws a leg kick that is checked enabling Blaze to counter with a crisp jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Blaze lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Cade lands a nice leg kick that just misses Blaze's sensitive parts. Alexander Blaze is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Blaze throws a body shot but no joy. Blaze misses with a low kick as Cade jumps back. Cade checks a leg kick. Cade looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Cade pushes Blaze up against the cage in a clinch. Blaze lands a left hand.

Blaze lands a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carver Cade dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cade tries for a takedown but Blaze circles away easily letting Blaze counter with a right hand. Cade lands with an overhand left. Blaze uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cade. Blaze misses with a hook. Cade ducked under it nicely. Cade throws a predictable looking body shot
and Blaze makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Cade is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Cade lands a leg kick that knocks Blaze off balance momentarily. Blaze scoring well with a low kick there.
Cade takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Good work by Blaze as he checks the leg kick. Cade lands a nice leg kick that just misses Blaze's sensitive parts. Blaze fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cade checks it well. Cade misses with a body shot.
Blaze throws a low kick but it's checked well by Cade. Cade lands with a good body shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fight stays on the outside here - Cade looks like he's thinking about clinching though. An attempted straight right counter from Blaze misses the target. Carver Cade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. A low kick from Blaze misses and Cade counters with a nice uppercut. Blaze throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Blaze scores with a sloppy right hand. Cade should have avoided that one. Blaze pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cade is out of range and Blaze settles back down. A shot to the body from Cade misses and Blaze counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Blaze throws a leg kick that misses. Blaze is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Cade looks to land a left hand but Blaze moved out of range nicely. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Blaze.
Alexander Blaze is winning the standup battle so far. Nice straight punches there by Blaze. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Blaze. Cade takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cade closes the distance and lands a one-two. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blaze throws a lazy right hand but Cade sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Blaze catches Cade with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nice body punch from Blaze. Blaze tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Blaze lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Blaze is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Blaze takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blaze fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Cade is out of range. Blaze cracks Cade with a good jab. A solid leg kick lands there for Cade.
Cade scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Cade moves forwards but Blaze connects with a nice, crisp jab. Cade lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Cade uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Blaze. Cade misses with a low kick.
Cade throws a series of punches but Blaze avoids them all with ease. Cade uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Blaze. Blaze lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A telegraphed right hand from Cade misses the target. Cade lands with an overhand left. Blaze slips a jab from Cade. Blaze tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cade is able to avoid easily. Blaze misses the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Blaze. Cade closes the distance and pushes Blaze back into the cage. Cade misses with a punch on the inside.
Cade swings wildly with an uppercut but Blaze uses good head movement to avoid it. Blaze landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Blaze breaks the clinch.
Cade looks to throw the jab but Blaze is out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Blaze misses the target. Blaze ducks right into an uppercut from Cade. Cade misses with a low kick as Blaze jumps back. Cade throws a body shot but no joy. Cade loads up on a big right hand but Blaze slips the punch. Blaze throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cade's head.
It looks like Carver Cade has been cut. Cade throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A little feinted left hand from Blaze on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Cade defending well as Blaze loads up on a big left hand. A looping hook to the body misses from Cade. Blaze does a little dance to reset his feet. Blaze on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Blaze avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Cade shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Cade takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cade connects with an inside leg kick. Nice uppercut there from Cade. Blaze checks a leg kick. Cade loads up on a big right hand but Blaze slips the punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Alexander Blaze will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Carver Cade's cut. That's time! Blaze's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Blaze jabs at Cade's body. Cade scores with a jab. Blaze acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Blaze misses with a body kick. Blaze jabs at Cade's body. Blaze lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Blaze lands a jab to the nose. Blaze walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cade checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Cade misses with a looping right. Cade throws a nice looking combination but Blaze bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A lazy left from Blaze finds it's target.
Cade is rocked! Cade's jab looks to have found its range, popping Blaze under the eye. Cade is still on wobbly legs! Can Blaze finish him? A low kick from Cade is predictable there and Blaze counters with a crisp right that sends Cade to the canvas! Blaze follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Blaze! Alexander Blaze very nearly forgot to thank Arcticus University: London amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
