2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Evander Shamrock! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamrock throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Solis counters with a good low kick that Shamrock was not able to check. Solis clinches up against the cage. Shamrock tries to score a body lock takedown but Solis shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Solis is defending well against a takedown attempt. Solis lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Solis lands a knee to the head.

Solis has escaped and now he's on top! Solis lands a couple of elbows. Solis lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Shamrock is looking for a triangle here but Solis uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Evander Shamrock has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sergio Solis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Shamrock throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
