Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Weis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nobunaga Shirow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weis comes to the cage accompanied by Bitter and then Some. Gerald Weis could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nobunaga Shirow's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shirow closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Weis to the mat! Weis manages to get full guard.
Weis can't keep his opponent in guard - Shirow advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Shirow is looking to advance position but Weis won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gerald Weis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shirow swats away the attempt to clinch by Weis.
Weis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Weis doesn't manage to clinch there - Shirow circles away.

Shirow takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
