Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Barack Obama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Laprise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierre Laprise is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obama gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Laprise postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Laprise working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Laprise thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've been hearing good reports from Obama's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Obama has instead reached around Laprise's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Obama arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
