The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinner moves into the clinch.
Skinner avoiding damage as Goncalves throws knees to the body.
Goncalves wants the takedown. Skinner is fighting it off but Goncalves persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Skinner's guard against the cage.
Skinner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Goncalves content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Skinner wants to sweep but no luck.
Goncalves landing with the ground and pound.
Goncalves wanted to stand there but Skinner had control of the position.
Goncalves with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Skinner is trying to hold Goncalves in close to prevent damage but Goncalves has managed to pass into half guard.
Goncalves has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Skinner wants to control but Goncalves is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Goncalves seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Still in half guard, Goncalves seems content to control.
Oh Skinner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Skinner has hold of Goncalves's hands but Goncalves slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Goncalves scores with a big shot! Skinner's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Skinner! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
