Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyron Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler shoots and misses
and Teller counters with a big head kick but Lawler shrugs it off.
Lawler blocks a head kick by Teller.
Lawler takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Lawler fails with the takedown
and Teller counters with a stiff right hand.
Teller pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lawler back to the cage. Teller follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Lawler misses with a takedown attempt
and Teller counters with a big head kick but Lawler shrugs it off.
Lawler is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyron Lawler. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Teller counters with a nice uppercut.
Oh Lawler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Teller cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Teller takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lawler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Teller tries to avoid it but Lawler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Teller to the ground. Teller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lawler seems to have got his legs back now.
Lawler throws a poor cross that misses
and Teller counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Lawler has his takedown stuffed
and Teller counters with a big head kick but Lawler shrugs it off.

Teller dodges the punch combination from Lawler.
Lawler shoots and misses
and Teller counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lawler is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Tyron Lawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Teller counters with a stiff right hand.

Teller looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Lawler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Teller counter with a right hand.
Lawler shoots and misses
and Teller counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Teller looks at the referee who does nothing so Teller lands a crushing right that sends Lawler to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
