Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucian Rodrigues!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tajima looks for a takedown but Rodrigues sprawls well.
Tajima fails to land the takedown.
Rodrigues shoots and misses
and Tajima counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tajima.
Rodrigues keeping full guard, as Tajima tries to pass.
Tajima trying to control but Rodrigues is working from the bottom.
Tajima avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Tajima is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tajima advances to half guard.
Tajima is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rodrigues defends it well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rodrigues moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Rodrigues is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tajima has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rodrigues to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tajima is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rodrigues pulls down on the head and he's put Tajima to sleep! This one is all over!
