Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timothy Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spartak Yuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuri throws a leg kick
and Simpson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yuri's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yuri is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Simpson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Simpson stands and throws Yuri's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Simpson scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Yuri is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Simpson can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
