19 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Bedford! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freeman swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bedford. Freeman avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Freeman connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bedford's hands. Bedford takes the fight into the clinch. Freeman digs a right hand underneath Bedford's ribcage. Bedford let out a lung full of air as it connected. Bedford being controlled against the cage. Freeman lands a body shot. Freeman avoiding damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Freeman works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Freeman works on Bedford's body with a couple of short punches. Freeman makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Bedford is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Bedford tries to kick Freeman off but Freeman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bedford is looking to improve his position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Freeman lands a nice short elbow. Freeman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Freeman winds up and cracks Bedford with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bedford is trying to control but can't.

Bedford misses with a takedown attempt - Freeman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Gordon Freeman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Bedford. Bedford misses with the body kick and Freeman counters with a takedown into side control. Bedford struggling a bit here. Freeman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bedford can do to turn this around? Freeman scores with punches from side control.
