The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay lands with a hook. Lima tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Pedro Lima has been cut.
Lima misses with a few strikes there.

Lima rushes Jay and presses him up against the cage.

Lima breaks the clinch.
Jay misses with a straight left.
Lima avoids the head kick by Jay.
Jay connects with a looping right hand.
Lima smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jay paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Jay avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lima doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jay moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Lima goes down! Can Jay finish him!?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jay won't allow Lima to sweep him here.

Jay pushes down on Lima's leg and manages to get into half guard.
