Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Freeman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bernie Kosar!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kosar walks into a straight right hand from Freeman.
Kosar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Freeman lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've been told by Freeman's head coaches at Titans Elite Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Freeman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Freeman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kosar misses with a few strikes there.
Kosar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kosar avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Freeman lands a right hook to the body.
Kosar throws a right and a left that both miss.
Freeman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kosar counters with a straight right hand.
Kosar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Freeman is fending him off so far but Kosar persists. Nope, Freeman circles away and we're back to standing.
Freeman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Freeman tests Kosar's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Freeman walks into a left hand.
Freeman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Freeman needs to keep his hands up - Kosar had a free shot at his head there.
Kosar jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bernie Kosar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kosar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Freeman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kosar. Kosar circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Kosar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Freeman as he avoids it easily.
Kosar dives in for a single leg takedown but Freeman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nate Freeman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bernie Kosar.
Kosar missing with a left hand there. Freeman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Kosar shoots in for a takedown but Freeman shows good takedown defense.

A jab lands there for Kosar.
Some wild striking there from Freeman.
Freeman's corner calls for a 1-2. Freeman obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
No joy there for Freeman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Freeman moves into the clinch.
Kosar is trying to drag Freeman to the mat but Freeman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Freeman pushes off an throws an elbow but Kosar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Freeman slowing the pace effectively.

Freeman breaks from the clinch.
Freeman slips under a jab.
Freeman attempts a counter takedown but Kosar avoids it well and moves away.
Freeman tries a head kick but it misses.
Kosar goes for a double leg but Freeman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Freeman continues to drive forward.
Freeman takes a swing at Kosar's ribcage but misses.
Kosar looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Freeman looks to score with a jab to the body but Kosar is just out of range.
Freeman moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kosar goes for a double leg but Freeman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Freeman continues to drive forward.

Kosar misses with a two punch combination.
Kosar avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Freeman lands with an overhand left.
Freeman throws a shot from downtown. Kosar moves away and avoids it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Freeman loads up on a big right hand but Kosar slips the punch.
Freeman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kosar in his tracks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Freeman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


Kosar is rocked!
Freeman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Kosar is still on wobbly legs! Can Freeman finish him?
Freeman is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Kosar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nate Freeman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Freeman throws an overhand right that drops Kosar like a sack of potatoes! Freeman dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
