Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilya Muromets (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Wu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muromets shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Muromets shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wu eats them both and turns towards Muromets to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Muromets misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Muromets fails to land with a series of punches.
Muromets throws a sloppy head kick and Wu moves out of range easily.
Wu looks for the body kick but Muromets saw that one coming.
Wu just misses with a punch to the body.

and Wu counters with a shoot takedown. Muromets fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wu sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Muromets's guard.
Wu takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Wu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Muromets does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wu frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Muromets tries to lock up and control but Wu gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A big strike lands for Wu! That's really hurt Muromets and he's turned his back - Wu keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Wu jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Charles Wu decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
